Marc Blucas is an American actor and basketball participant. He is known for his roles on the sequence Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Necessary Roughness, and within the movies Wes Craven Presents: They, I Capture the Castle, Prey for Rock & Roll, First Daughter (2004), Three (2006), The Killing Floor, After Sex, The Jane Austen Book Club, Deadline (2009), Touchback, Brawl in Cell Block 99, Looking Glass (2018), and Unearth. He played basketball with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons college staff.
His father is of half Polish and part Slovak descent. His mother is of part English and Scottish, and half Serbian, ancestry. Marc is married to journalist Ryan Haddon.
Marc’s paternal grandfather was Walter J. Blucas (the son of Peter/Pete Martin Blucas and Katherine/Kathryn/Catherine Caroline Kendelski/Kendelsky/Kendaleski). Walter was born in Pennsylvania, to Polish folks.
Marc’s paternal grandmother was Alice Phillips (the daughter of Charles Phillips and Barbara Suhar). Alice was once born in Pennsylvania, to Slovak parents. Charles used to be the son of Georgii Fylyp and Maria Petrick.
Marc’s maternal grandfather was once Elmer E. Gordon (the son of Harry Gordon and Mary Christine Long). Elmer used to be born in Ohio, and had Scottish and English ancestry.
