Student CRUCIFIES a rat on a cross after catching it 'eating his pet turtle'

A Chinese university student were given revenge on a rat that had apparently eaten his pet turtle via crucifying it on a cross.

Pictures showing the rodent being tied to the wooden cross with its entrance legs all sides of its carcass and displayed on the college's campus have emerged online.

The incident has brought about common anger on the Chinese social media platform with customers expressing their outrage over the tough remedy in opposition to the animal.

The incident took place at Guangxi Arts Institute in Nanning, capital of China's southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on January 6, in line with posts on Twitter-like Weibo.

One submit said on Sunday that the tied-up rat was once publicly shamed subsequent to a pond on campus. 

Another put up claimed on Monday that the rodent used to be displayed for sooner or later earlier than being burnt.

A college spokesman confirmed the online claims to Chinese information website online btime.com.

The spokesman stated the rat had eaten a student's pet turtle. 

He added: '[The rat's stays] have been dealt with. We have brought him in for a talk. We've criticised him for the poor behaviour.'

Social media weren't sluggish in voicing their evaluations.

One user said: 'Burning it is cruel, isn't it? The rat ate the turtle, however definitely it's too cruel to burn it?'

While any other commentator condemned: 'You can kill it, however don't torture it.'
