YNW Melly Tells Akademiks He's Coming Home With A New Album In 2020
YNW Melly can be home soon, if he has any say in it.
The Florida rapper, who is recently incarcerated looking forward to trial for a 2018 double murder, advised Akademiks that he believes that he’ll be launched from jail this yr and is adamant about his liberate.

Melly has been jailed in Broward County since his arrest in February 2019 in connection with the murders of YNW Juvy, actual identify Christopher Thomas and YNW Sakchaser, real title Anthony Williams. The rapper has attempted on numerous events to acquire a conditional release from jail after he tested positive for COVID-19 in April. His attorney, Bradford Cohen, filed a request for Melly to be released from jail and placed on house arrest due to the pandemic and Broward County prison’s inadequate remedy of Melly.
“The jails and prisons aren't prepared to deal with this disaster,” Cohen wrote. “Rules on alcohol based hand sanitizer and wipes will have to be lifted at a bare min. Inmates are passing trays, jail telephones and shared items that aren't sanitized when passed between inmates.”
Melly’s appeal used to be denied. He later sent word to Kanye West to have the God’s County artist use his powers to assist spring him free but to no avail.

YNW Melly’s Murder Case Co-Defendant Granted $75K Bond
In May, Melly’s co-defendant in the murders of Juvy and Sakchaser, YNW Bortlen, used to be launched from prison on bond. Bortlen’s legal professional, John M. Phillips confirmed that while his consumer was once to be placed on area arrest, Melly would stay at the back of bars till trial.
