“When we went to set for the first time, I saw Mark Wahlberg, and Mark is very large. He is a unit,” Holland stated in December. “I used to be in good form, however I wasn’t by any means large.”
Shortly after production started, the Uncharted set closed down because of COVID-19 lockdowns. Holland decided to use this time to put on more muscle for the action movie.
“We went house for five months; all I did was once consume and educate, devour and teach, devour and educate,” he added. “To put a little bit of trees on, to make me glance no longer like a kid next to Mark.”
